Author Resizing an image

I lost an image resizing script when my PC crashed.

It did resizing in steps and came up with a better result.

It was from a web site that had a number of illustrations of how well it
did against a simple resize.

But, the script got lost on my crash. And I do not have the web site URL.
And I couldnt find it with a Google search.

Can someone point me to the web site?

I keep getting that "this script has attempted an operation that is not
permitted in a restricted script. This script may be run by moving to a
trusted directory." I have it in a trusted directory with the "file
location" entered. What am I doing or not doing to get the scripts to run?

When I installed it again recently because of a new harddrive and
everything had to be reinstalled the script installed into the Corel
PSPx program Trusted Script. Check the .pdf file that is with this
script because I have a hazy recollection of particular install routines
for PSP9.

I don't know since I'm not looking over your shoulder. However,
start by making sure the script is not *also* present in a
restricted folder. I think PSP will detect that and and treat
the script as restricted even though a copy is in the trusted
folder. In any case, Fabrice's scripts have a lot of extra
Python baggage with them that needs to be in the right places.
Consequently you should address questions about them to the
script's author, not to me, if you want them answered well. I
don't even have the scripts.

Since you don't have the scripts then set aside that request I put for
dark edges and light edges mask which is called USM mask Lighten. The
thought flittered through my background thinking that in times past
there was an edit routine which involved finding the edges. Somewhere
along the line I read references to having a layer with the edges then
applying sharpening. I just wondered if these layers with edges (dark
and light) was not an actual sharpening (radius/strength/clipping) but
doing a contrast action.
Its that line of thought whenever you have an idle moment <HA!>

Where is the "faramirsupportfunction" directory suppose to be - in the
restricted folder or someplace else?

It seems to me that the simplest thing to do is to go back to the
site to which Spandex directed you at

http://www.fabriceroux.com/

and download the installer file, double click it from the folder
you save it to, and just let it install the script. It should
install all of the proper files in the proper directories for any
version of PSP you have installed (at least from v.8).

The FaramirSupportFunction.pyc needs to be in the Python Libraries
directory under the PSP directory.

If you install the scripts, as I did to My PSP Files, one will need to
move it from the Python Libraries directory which it sets up under My
PSP Files.
