Author Question for Howard about EXIF script
Steve

Hi Howard,

How do I control the size of the text that's used in the EXIF script? So
far all of my experiments on full size (pixel width and height) tifs have
shown very tiny type when placing the EXIF data. Thanks.

Steve,

Are you using PSPX?

If so, 'they' mucked about with the Text tool so that fonts can be
created by Pixel size, or the old Point size. However, they forgot to
add this option to a recorded script... AND a recorded point size gets
run, as if it was pixels!!! With me so far?

Anyhoo... you'll have to edit the script to 'up' the text size.

Open the script and about half way down you'll find this...

### Display panel font size is determined
### by the image width multiplied by 0.016

textsize= (App.ActiveDocument.Width *.016)

Try changing it to .025

Then save the script.

I'll have another look at this script and determine a new value (text
size) for PSPX. Thanks for reminding me.

Something else for our C friends to sort!

Rgds,
Howard

Thanks Howard, I'll have a go and see what happens. It was also odd though
that it would let me use the text tool to edit the data otherwise I could
have cranked up the font size myself after the script ran.

Thanks again Howard. I found where to make the edit you suggest and wound
up making it .5. I also played about with the placement of the text to get
it off the very bottom of the title box. I also noticed finally how to
change the size of the title box while the script is running.

And yes, I am running PSPX but also have 9 running. I still waffle a bit
between the two.
