Author Beta5 - PhotoCorrect script

Folks,

Honest... this will be the last one! (oh yeah?)

I've just added another option which may be of use.

Beta 5 functions...

User options as per Beta4 (Normal, Center Weighted & Contact Sheet),
but have added another option 'Luminance Only' which Normalizes to
mid-Luminance, but doesn't make any Histogram or Curves adjustment,
allowing the user to adjust as he/she pleases.

The contact sheet now displays the original and the 3 options.

Rgds,
Howard

I hope not. Then the quality of his products would really have to

Howard, I pressed control>C but I only got warm coke. Can you fix it? Or
do I have to get a water cooled PC?

Hi - I'm unable to run successfully either Beta4 or Beta5 in PSPX. I've
tried the script on a number of images - always with the same result. Yet
Howard's recent HighKey script works beautifully with my program. The error
dialogue obtained for Beta5 is copied below. Any thoughts on what might be
the problem? Thanks, Rod.

I'm not Howard, but he stated that he is developing the beta to
work with v.9, not v.X. That particular call does not work with
v.X (so none of his betas of this script have worked with v.X.
When he publishes the final version he will likely make the
change necessary for it to work in v.X.

Thanks for the feedback. I've only had Paint Shop Pro for a short while,
and am still learning much of the back-story to the product I acquired
(version X) - and am a trifle non-plussed to learn that PSPX appears not to
be backwards compatible - with products designed to work with the
immediately previous generation of the program (i.e. PSP9) - Cheers, Rod.

Thanks David. At least my backwards compatibility concern (see prior post)
is alleviated. Now I'm left wondering what's wrong with my new PSPX
program, which apparently is causing the error? It's not helpful to know I
cannot now even run the repair utility that comes with PSPX (see the "Error
1334 problem" post on Jan 15, 2006 in the Corel.PaintShopProX newsgroup) -
Cheers, Rod.

All versions of this script work fine here, using PSPX.
I no longer have PSP9 installed.

Run the script with neither of the color swatches set to Null. Both
must have a color.

Hi RonV - The script now works perfectly. Thank you for the switched-on
