It does look like fun, Joske. This is the kind of thing I would play with
when I'm tired but don't want to leave the computer! Thanks.

I tried it in my PSP 9 and got an error mesage but it ran. What areas
should I change for v9?

Hi John,

I know, that's why I wrote that it needed some ironing out. But I
just can't find the cause. The funny thing is that it will give the
same error message when ran in X.

Apart from that error message at the start, the script runs exactly
the same as in X. Just give those randomize buttons a spin until you
see an outcome you like, or better still, experiment with the effect
settings yourself... and don't forget to post a result that took
your fancy :-)

The reason the error message is generated is because
'Host': 'Paint Shop Pro',
'Host Version': u''
is missing from the ScriptProperties statement, Joske. Just add that back
in, generic as I have above, and no error message will be generated. Suz

Correct.

The reason I removed them is because Host Version, or both, will
contain the version, and because brush tips adapted to 9 don't need
this info at all.

Suz, got it to work and placed the new version on my site. Thank you
for your help.

Huh? This isn't a brush tip script. If you use the generic form I listed
above, the version is not there to befuddle PSP, and the Host and Host
Version lines are there, so PSP doesn't think it can't find the Version and
so won't tell the user it can't determine the version. It's a simple fix,
and will let the script run in any version. Suz

Sorry my openness about my faulty reasoning is such a shocker to you
that you feel the need to utter a neanderthal sound to my face :-)

My forte is graphics, I never claimed to be savvy at scripting -
which is why I am once more working on it, so that I can
interactively script ideas when I want to.

As I wrote before, thank you for passing along the info. Trust me,
if John hadn't enquired, you wouldn't have publicly balked at my
ignorance and I would have continued figuring out the error myself.

Jeanne, thi is very OT, but since you mentioned those moments, have you
tried ORISINAL games? I love 'em! They are so cute!

And you, have you tried the Calendar Script and found it was not
"useless" as you wrote a while back? ;-)
