Author Silent mode isn't very freaking silent

I have to process 1k files multiple times and everytime it processes a
file it's warning me that saving it in the mode requested (PNG, in this
case) it has to be merged, I'll loose functionaly, WTF ever. SOOOOO
WHAT! That's why I told you to run in Silent Mode. I don't care, just
save the freaking file!

Ok, I'm done venting now. How do I get the stupid thing to not give me
ANY dialogs?

Thanks!!

Did you record rather than write the script? If so, did you
record the script with a file that had layers and would have to
be merged so that you got the warning box and did you then select
the option to save regardless of losing functionality?

I don't know if that's the problem, but thought the question was
relevant.

I did record the script and that is definitely a relevant question but
the answer is no. None of the files have layers. They're PNGs and I
the only thing I recorded was clicked Image menu -> Resize, set settings
and click OK. There's no intelligent reason that I can deduce that it
should have been asking the question. As I was simply doing an
overwrite and therefore the target format was the same as the source.

I also realized that the dialog was coming from the batch process saving
the file, not the script itself so the Subject of my post is misleading.

Enjoy!!

I believe I was this in general properties the other day - warn during save
of loss of functionality etc.

You can turn if off there, so that when your script runs, its simply wont
ask.
