Sorry, I have no idea what that means (being Dutch).

It's a North American saying, meaning too many people being the boss and
not enough people doing the work - and is usually used to by someone who
feels too many people are trying to run the show when they shouldn't be
doing so.

I suspect that Lorraine is upset by my post suggesting that a ping pong
image should be recognizably derived from the previous one. However, as
I posted in a later reply in that thread, I was only pointing out what
Sally Beacham had originally said when she posted the first ping pong,
and that was why I had added "Unless Ron has changed things....". I
acknowledged that you had corrected me and that Ron, in fact, had changed
things, but perhaps Lorraine hasn't read that acknowldgement. I
certainly hadn't meant to insult her or anything, but maybe it came out
that way.

Regards,

JoeB

I see, thanks for the explanation of the expression.

The way I see it, PingPongs cause different kinds of enthusiasm,
including yours about the rules. It's a good thing, and nobody
should get snappy about it - nor feel they are the cause of such
snappiness. Lorraine might as well mean me with my parallel
pingpong, who knows.

All I know PingPongs are for fun, and to each their own :-)

No Joske, I didn't mean you.
But someone should lay down the rules and keep them.
The first one I did was fun, people added rules as it went along, lace,
curls and whatever..but this time I understoon that we could change the
picture. I didn't like the skull, it was a pretty apple before that, so I
thought I would put Ron's apple back and use it as a sign. Then that the
cemetery was further down the road. As there seemed to be several people
after me, they had many options to go back to the skull or cemetery or
orchard or your cute little school house. It would make a cute school :)

Then why the talk about chiefs and indians in your response to me in
my initiative where I clearly stated my own 'rules'. This was
supposed to be fun, but things like these sure remind me why I often
find this group too stifling to my liking.

Now, isn't that interesting. I attached only once but the image
shows twice for me.

Oh boy, I can tell by the big eyes that the little car is really
frightened! Now I'm worried about where the Tiled AlienSpace Craft
took him... or worse, that the TASC ate it for its own metal
resupply.

I see it twice as well, Barb. Neat effect, I can almost hear the

I didn't mean you. But there was some misunderstanding as far as I can see.
I was told quite bluntly that mine should have had the previous scene in it.
Well, I didn't like the previous scene, plain and simple and I understood we
could
do what we wanted...so you got the orchard and the sign and the directions
for anyone
that wants the skull to find it in the cemetery.
I answered in the thread, I guess I am stupid.

You're not stupid, but I really hope you're not turning something
that's supposed to be fun into something problematic for yourself
:-)There's freedom in these PingPongs, for you too.

I don't think some people in this group will ever accept me. So...what can I
say... I'm not the one that turned it into anything. Just remember that:)
I just did what I thought at the time.....An apple orchard with a sign and
the cemetery down the road for anyone that wanted the skull. I thought they
were for fun, not for dreary posts, also it isn't hallowe'en yet it's Easter
in my country. :)

Lorraine, I can honestly say I see no sign of anyone not accepting
you. Everyone has their own style, JoeB, you, me, Ron... and that's
okay and it doesn't mean there's a problem, unless...

.....unless you make something into one, like when you were being
unkind to me by telling me you wouldn't join in my parallel
pingpong. Now that was just not necessary.

For me, discussion of the riddle of the invisible problem is closed,
and I hope you too will add your bit any way you like to the
PingPong.

Maybe it's making up for all the ones I send that never show up. The
bot obviously likes you and hates me. Where did I go wrong, what am I
to do? Oh woe is me!

I thought it was quite a nice picture and certainly within the rules
of the game. The idea is to have fun with the passing around, no
matter what happens to the image.

Well evidently I was supposed to put the flipping skull in the post and I
didn't. I can't read minds.....so sorry

Lorraine, your version was fine, it was great and just look now at how it is
progressing. When the skull was put in to begin with, it replaced the apple
house, no big deal.

Isn't that what I said in my first message above? Anything you wanted
to do was fine with everyone.

Your version was quite nice, please don't try to take that as a

Well I did, I'm sorry. I was tired I guess. I thought I did quite well
tubing your apple. You don't know how hard that is for me...:) I know it
isn't a perfect tube.
I thank you for responding. JoeB apologized and I accepted. No harm done.
You have a nice group here.
Happy Easter or Passover to everyone!
I know Passover was last weekend but people are getting together again for
the long :) weekend.
