Thank you, Carrie.

I have complete rights to the flower and the resultant image. I made it part
of the contract! I can use it in unlimited promotion and use derivatives for
my purposes. When I do design for "budget minded" customers, I keep the
rights.

The original is 5X5" at 300PPI.

Very nice image but I had to read your post several times and still don't
understand it completely. What does several photos of "Loti??? (Carrie)"
mean? I assume you mean "butt". :-)

Carrie coined the term Loti for the plural of Lotus.

Why would you ask for a snag?

In Painter, Picture Tubes are called Nozzles. In both cases, a set of
images that can be sprayed into an image. At one time, to give them
the same name would have been copyright infringement.

Hehe, isn't Paul a hoot? And talented besides.

You could have done the same thing using PSP instead of Draw and PP,
though. Trace the lotus using PSP's vector tools, create a selection
from the path, then create a mask from the selection. (If you like using
vector paths as the basis of masks, you could record a script for the
path -> selection -> mask steps.)

I am too set in my PhotoPaint ways, Lori.

I use Photoshop for fun but when a paying client is on the line, I always
fall back on PhotoPaint. I am very curious to see what becomes of the PP/PSP
race.

Rikk.

I'm not sanguine about PSP's fate, Rikk. I don't think the folks at
Corel have any idea how much it can do, and do very well, or what it
needs to improve. Sometimes I think they think it's only something like
Digital Image Pro. (But I'd very much like to be wrong about this.)
