Shadows definitely need some work. The way I create shadows in Poser
is to lay down a primitive square and enlarge it to simulate the
ground from other images.

I usually turn shadow ability off on the light controls until my last
render, when I still only use one light casting shadows.

The attached image shows a simple ground plane with a primitive
cylinder on it. I enabled the shadow on behind our left shoulder and
rendered. Note that you can adjust the amounts of blurring or shadow
strength in the light control.

To place the image and shadow over an image, I would likely use the
background eraser to erase all but the object and it's shadow, then
select and make the shadow about 50% transparent. Save the
selection in case it needs additional work, such as warping.
