Adelphia sold its assets in my area to Time Warner who write:

"Over time, we will transition you to Time Warner Cable's award-winning
high-speed online service - Road Runner High Speed Online."

It was down for *only* 8 hours today, and the tech support guy claimed it
wasn't due to the transition, but some other factor about which he was
totally clueless. Anyway, I thought I'd mention this in advance in case the
transition causes my posting to be unusually sporadic :-(
