New Picture Tubes in Older Versions

Greetings to everyone.
I currently own the following PSP: 4, 7.04, 8, 9.01 e 10.03.
For a matter of personal preference (therefore please don't tell me to
upgrade!), a matter of practicity ( 7.04 does everything I need done) and
also HD space; I have ONLY Paint Shop Pro 7.04 installed on my PC.
However, I would like to use on my Paint Shop Pro 7.04 the following items
of the next (newer) versions of PSP:
- Picture Tubes
- Frames
- Gradients
- Textures.
And there's loads of items (files)!
How do I install or convert them in a manner they can work just fine in my
PSP 4.07?
(Due to the amount of files, I prefer a batch conversion, of course...)
I thank you for your attention and for all helpful replies beforehand!

Textures would have to be saved in BMP format and then the file extension
changed to TEX.
To convert Picture Frames and Picture Tubes, you're going to have to install
PSPX. Then you can simply open each file in PSPX, save each one as a
PspImage file, being sure to choose the Save option "PSP 7 compatible file",
and then in PSP7 export each file as a Picture Tube or Picture Frame, as
appropriate.
I'd have to check on gradients - can't now because I don't have a copy of
PSP7 handy at the moment. I'm guessing that either the gradients will be
fine if you only change the file extension or the gradients won't be
compatible at all.

Lori is correct about gradients. Just rename them with a jgd extension
rather than PspGradient.
The quickest way to do this, assuming that you've copied them to the
standard PSP 7 gradient folder (C:\Program Files\Jasc Software Inc\Paint
Shop Pro 7\Gradients) is from a command prompt.
Go to Run in the start menu and type in "cmd" and press enter.
Then copy the last line of this post, right click inside the command
window and select "Paste". Press the enter key. Change the path if your
gradients aren't in the default PSP 7 location.
The line to copy is:-
ren "C:\Program Files\Jasc Software Inc\Paint Shop Pro
7\Gradients\*.pspgradient" *.jgd
