Barb, I really like this, it's very pretty. Are these peonies?
We have a few empty spots in the yard and I was thinking of
getting one or two. (nevermind.... I just looked at the name of
the image... lol). Pass..... the..... coffee..... pleeease.
Evidentally 2, 20 oz. coffee's weren't enough.

It works surprisingly well and the frame is very artistic too :)

Thanks you. I don't know about Art Media. I have Painter IX
and should learn to use that better. I love it but just haven't had
enough experience to be really comfortable with it. Have the program
and some books on Painter, so just sit down and do it! :)

This really does look like a photo-realistic painting (rather than a
digital "painting" created from a photo). Nice work Barb - and Howard. :)

You really nailed this one Barb..
Half the battle is choosing the right image (this is a goodie)
and not having to much detail for brush work.
then there is the wisdom to start and the good taste that
tells you when to stop..
lubbly
carrie
ps would like to see a streakier background.. just for comparison
may work may be a disaster..

Barb,
May I ask what brand the paper is? I have not found any 11 x 14 paper in the
stores.

It is Epson Radient White Watercolor paper and it comes in 13 x 19.
My image is printed 11 x 14. The white border will be trimmed if
needed and go under a matte when framing.
