Though not a GM F-Body, it's a nice looking car! I always loved the early
'70s Dodges. It's the older ones that I'm not too fond of after my dad had a
bad experience with a Plymouth Volare. Some other cool Dodges of that era
are the Dart and Charger (like the General Lee, for example).

Love the bright red paint job on this car. They must have coated it a few
times and then several layers of top coat for extra shine.

The Dream Cruise sounds like lots of fun!

No, it's not. I meant a Chrysler F-Body, but blew that.
Right after I hit send, I realized I'd mistyped it, a
Challenger is an E-Body Chrysler car. There was a General
Lee Charger at CEMA but the owner blew it, he painted up a
1968 but the General was always a 1969.

I don't know GM and Ford body names, so I don't even know
specifically what you're referring to. Please enlighten me.

Yep, but cruising is like driving on a parking lot moving at
0.1 mpg!

oops. :-) I have also heard of Chrysler K-Kars and some people I know kinda
liked those.

That must've been funny. :-)

Well, I'm not up on GM Body names either, but you can find info on these
here:

http://members.aol.com/KWZ26/models.html

This is only some of the GM body platforms. I know that A-Body cars
are: Pontiac 6000 (mine), Buick Century, Chevy Celebrity and Olds Cutlass
Ciera. these were the family and sport sedans and wagons. Though some say
that the Pontiac GTO in of the '60s/'70s was one of the earliest A-Body
platform cars.

The GM F-Body Platform included the Pontiac Firebird, Pontiac Firebird Trans
Am, Pontiac Firebird SE, Chevrolet Camaro including the infamous Iroc Z and
Z28 Camaros, I believe it was.

:-) Not quite that slow, but nice... cruising into the sunset on a lone
stretch of road, fuzzy dice dangling in the rear-view mirror, good 'old Rock
and Roll blasting through the speakers... Cool cars in front and in back of
you... Another really awesome driving experience that thankfully doesn't
involve nosebleed speeds. :-P
