When I painted the clothes on Adriaan's Miki, I remarked that the
light in Poser models always seems to come from different angles but
mostly from the bottom. For some reason I don't know, the makers
seem to have a liking for what I call campfire lighting. I wrote
that therefore I decided not to bother with making the lightfall on
the clothes I added in PSP realistic.
Added to the models themselves, there are the backdrops people add
that usually have yet another, different lighting - as is the case
in
this image. Mainly however, I have yet to see a realistic Bryce or
Poser model - they are just too far from realistic to aim for the
familiar rules.
Therefore I think Adriaan's choice of shadows is much better than
your attempt to apply some learned rules. The shadows are in fact
just about the only thing that add a spark of interest to the whole.
They at least give a vague suggestion of there being more going on
than an ordinary animal in a landscape.

Hi Joske I assume your replying to Joelle whose post didn't show up. Thanks
for the comments. Sorry I didn't see that post your referring too. :-)
