You need to change the light as there is no visible light source where he is
standing, yet he has light on this face.
The darker areas on his body make the light appear it's coming up from the
ground, yet there is a shadow which would indicate the light source is
above.
That's most probably why you are unhappy. :-)
If you change the lighting angles it will look quite different.
I tried Poser for a little while, but it wasn't a great success, to put it
mildly... %-)

What's disappointing about the image? The deer morphs in poser or daz?
Output rendering? It doesn't look "bad" to me. It just doesn't look quite
lifelike?
