Author Just some colorized clipart

Last week I was feeling guilty about not contributing anything here in a
while, and so I tried to upload an example of colorized clipart. I never
saw it show up, so I'll try again now. Sorry if this is a duplicate post!

The image started out as simply black and white, and I added several
layers with various blend modes, including Darken, Color, and Overlay.
The hair also includes some noise with Twirl applied.

This is really neat, Lori! I'm glad you posted it again because
I never saw the original. Feel guilty more often, will ya? ;-)

Ooh, that's nice, I would love to have a hairstyle like that.
I must investigate noise-with-twirl, that's very effective.

Wonderful job Lori. Feeling guilty works for you. Funny thing I decided to
try my hand at colourising a black and white from Dover last week as well.
Have never done before and thought here I'm collecting these things and
don't know whether I'll use them. I was very pleased with my quick test and
hopefully will remember to put to use down the track...Pat

Thanks, Barb. I had fun with it, adding little extras here and there
like the twirled noise in the hair.

Thanks, Michelle. I don't usually need to be encouraged to feel guilty,
though. ;)

Thanks, Jo=EBlle. I just realized that I misspoke when I said Twirl,=20
though. What I really used was Radial Blur set to Twirl.

Thanks, Pat. This was a piece of Dover clipart, too. Please post your
results as well!
