That is /really/ bad news! Corel does to software what
Symantec does - destroy it utterly. I canot think of a
single piece of software S has purchased that they didn't
mangle. I don't parlez vous C but the little that I gather
lurking, ditto for them.

Best download the latest version and hope my paid
registration still works!

Didn't Symantic recently buy up Partition Magic? I've got 7.01 and guess
that will have to keep.

lol. I had "Norton Ghost" and it wouldn't work anymore after installing
"Poser 6". I had to purchase "Acronis" so I could backup my Hard Drive.

Hm. I recently picked up Poser 6, Hexagon2 and (of course, its free) DAZ
studio. I *thought* I was getting a better way to get "plugin models" from
one game to another easier. I think I might be wrong about that. I also
thought I would be able to create models in P6, and i was wrong about that.
Hence, Hex2.
What I thought would be fairly simple, I instead found that the reference
and tut manuals will be required reading :)
I think I'll be re-thinking most of my thinking...

I'm reading the Poser 6 manuals now and am finding it hard going. When I
bought Poser I thought I would be able to export Poser figures into Daz
Studio (hence Bryce 5.5), but have since learnt that although this is
possible, it's not easy and beyond me for the moment. Instead of buying
Hexagon I bought Shade and have yet to read the manuals.

I had a lot of trouble installing Poser and after seeking technical support
had to install it in windows safe mode. To top it off the program kept
crashing when starting it up and after many hours worked out it was caused
by a program running in the background called "Google Desktop". I can get
Poser figures into a 3D application called "Vue Esprit" and I would rank
that as being equivalant to Bryce which I've had to give up on for the time
being.

Regards
