That's a neat manip, and I bet it *IS* a nice photo too! You should post
it, I would enjoy seeing it. It don't matter a whit what it was shot
with...it's that it was shot at all that matters!

Gramps is right, Nightingale. I would love to see that shot. Frankly, you
have me considering buying a camera. And what other forum is that?

this looks like a silk painting...
my daughter did some IRL in her fine arts course
I really like it
the strong lines of the branch have a naturally
painted feel..
sort of a little batiky in a way
great effect

Thanks for posting it Gail! I like it. Beautiful clear sky, bright, fresh
spring life, and birds enjoying it. Good pic. Hm. I might try that high
pass sharpen after a resize. I've grown used to hitting the Sharpen button
once after a SmartResize for years. Got new tools to play with :)

Thank you, McG ;-) I never use just plain Sharpen because it doesn't give
you as much control as the other methods do. I use either the Unsharp Mask
or High Pass Sharpen, or a combination of both (using masks) depending on
the image and what needs to be sharpened.

Thanks, David! It's too much fun doing this kind of thing, isn't it? I never
seem to get any housework done. Oh well ;-))

In PSP X we have the HPS, in 9 we have USM which is good for this kind of
thing, I'm finding! Just depends on which version I'm in when I decide to
work on a photo.
