I've never been attracted to the fractal stuff I've seen, but
this is really very intriguing and attractive, Gail. It's the
first one I've seen in these groups that doesn't use symmetry but
actually look more like a painting, with deliberate placement of
all of the elements. It's like a fantasy world of delicate
flower petals with edges defines more sharply in colour and with
"balls & bubbles" type accents. Really neat!

That's because you've never been involved with "strange attractors" :)

Thanks so much, Joe! I like this one better than the second one also.
Fractals can be much more interesting than a lot of folks realize. Since
they are based on mathematical formulas, people often think 'oh those are
just things that the computer makes', when in fact the resulting images
depend on the artistic expression of each individual fractalist as well as
the math that's involved ;-)

I love it but I really love fractals. I just love the color
combinations you have with it, but I am an old hippie. ;-)

Coooool images today, Gail. This is my favorite one :-D You're
making me in the mood to do fractals today.. so it's your fault
if I don't clean the house. That's my story & I'm sticking to
it ;-))

Please report the last time you were in the mood to clean the house,

Why am I not surprised? :) Perhaps you should live in dirt as I do.

It's just as well. They bring too much chaos into one's life.

Thanks for all your comments on my fractals, GQ! Unfortunately, I missed
being a real hippie by a few years, but as a young teen in the 60's I still
grew up with hippie sensibilities - and I'm glad that I did ;-)

Thanks, Michelle! I thought that since I'd mentioned FraxPlorer in reply to
John's question, I might as well make an example using it. This was the
first time I've ever tried that particular layering technique with it. Now
I'm curious about whether you can make UltraFractal-like images that way
i.e. similar style but without the UF headaches ;-) I'm going to do some
experimenting.
Loved your piggy and it's the same in my house hehe!

I do. I'm right between the grape tomatoes & the cilantro. ;-)
Dirt is reliable too. My mother used to say, why clean today
when you know that the dirt will still be there tomorrow. Good
old reliable dirt ;-))

Your first image has the look of Ultra Fractal. Good work. I'm
huffing and puffing through the posts. :)

Thanks, Barb ;-) I figured you were away when I didn't see any posts from
you. Were you visiting family?

Yes, we were in North Carolina for a week. Great to be home.
In a couple weeks, one son, dil and two small grandchildren will
arrive from Florida to spend a week. I'm taking a second Ultra
Fractal class starting May 1 so things will be a little hectic for a
while. I will catch up! :)
