Ooooh, very pretty, Joëlle! There's something very peacockish
(is that a word?) about it. Aren't fractals fun? :-))

It's a word as from today :-)
Yes, it's good fun once you get a nice result! I haven't managed one of
those curly twisty shapes yet..

Nicely done! Did you enjoy your first try at fractalling?

Thanks Gail,
It's quite mesmerising to watch. It would have been even better if I had
understood what I was doing %-), practice will sort that out I hope..

Practice does help, but unless you're a mathematician, you might never
*fully* understand what you're doing. I've been fractalling for years and
much of it is still something of a mystery to me ;-))

Do you have any PSP scripts that do fractals?

I used Mind Boggling Fractals Lite, it's free.

I love jewel tones - and these look like jewel tones to me. Beautiful!

Hi John,

There are a few plugins I know of that will make fractals in PSP, though I
wouldn't recommend going that way. There are some included in Corel's KPT
collection, but that's quite expensive, and another, Julia World by Mehdi
http://www.mehdiplugins.com/english/juliaworld.htm
is free but is very limited, in that it only makes one type of fractal.

The vast majority of fractals are created in stand-alone fractal
applications, then the fractal images can be opened in PSP for additional
tweaking, etc. as Joelle did with hers. Many of these apps are free. I have
links to some of them, and to some general resources about fractals, on my
graphics links web page:
