Jackie: hello from another (budding) deep paint user. There are not
many around. I set up a poll on RetouchPro and got 6 replies of
"testing and trying", and 1 using, out of what 20000 members or more.

I wrote in some other messages that I just got a book published on how
to use DP. It is really an artwork book with some explanations and
exercises aimed at DP. Lots of images on the CD that comes with the book.

More later. I wonder if the co rel bots will flag out excessive
discussion about an alternate editing/painting program. It wouldn't
surprise me.

I've used it for years, since DP1 - I really got hooked on the easy
transport back and forth between programs.

But I think people just need to hear more about it; it never got the
press that Painter did, but with the new pricepoint it deserves to be
touted. The more people who start mucking about with it, the more
resources will become available.

And free!!!! Can't beat that.

Tough - we can call it a plug-in. ;-)
