Well, too bad it's not official because there are many offensive graphics
cliches here. I'm not going to include Flood because I love that plugin.
Well, I could say that it's not appropriate in this design! Two-headed
heart bird? Gratuitous angels? Balls & Bubbles? Grungy text falling off
the sides? Valentines shouldn't be grungy. Awful color combination. There
must be more. Yes, an excellent -- terrible -- Massacre example.

Oh, the depths to which some will dive in order to gain a rules exception.

Joelle, Jeanne, Norma, and Carrie - I enjoyed reading your
comments/critiques of my oh-so-lovely Valentine, thanks ;-))

Joelle, could be that 'studmuffin' is an Americanism.

Jeanne, I'm glad I was never one of your students! Woman, you are brutal
;-0!

Norma and Carrie, your comments made me LOL!

We're leaving this morning for son's junior recital, which will be held
tomorrow at his school. He expects about 100 or so in the audience, and will
be singing 15 pieces - and he's not very nervous at all. I would be an
absolute wreck. They also have to provide some munchies for a reception
afterwards, which he had informed me is 'my job.' Luckily, my hubby, son's
dad and step-mom actually enjoy making up munchie platters, so all I had to
do was make a few batches of 'my special brownies' at son's request. You'd
think after all these years, he would have noticed the Betty Crocker boxes.
He also asked if I'd try to fix his computer while we're there, and I said
sure, I'll do that while everyone else is preparing munchies. It's good to
be geeky ;-)

Usually I'm a cowering pussy cat but that behavior just won't fly in the
Valentine Massacre milieu. I have to summon up all of my latent meanness to
respond properly to valentine entries. (Actually my treatment with students
was always the truth as I saw it. Truth can sometimes be brutal but I tried
to wrap it in kindness.)

I think that this is very elegant and heart-felt!

Linda and Barb,

Thanks to you both, and Linda, sorry it took so long to reply. Lately, I
can't seem to get my 'serious' work to come out as interesting as my
Massacre stuff did. Could be creative block, but I think it's more likely
that I've overdosed on 'cute' and need to detox ;-0!
