Actually, there are two others. My 'letting fly at you' and Lesley's
sqwerl head offering.
I can see that your heart's just not in it, you can't do a really
awful one. This one is too good. (and sorry, but that's bad in this
contest.)
Oh well, I applaud your sensibilities, I find that my own are
deteriorating.

I have the same problem, Joske. I like to do nice stuff.

That's the problem, isn't it. You start out making a real mess and
then you see a nice combination here or a lovely effect there that
you just can't bear to ruin... I'd still like the pro's to bring it
on though... their reticence feels ominous :-)

Lesley's is the one I meant, I don't see yours. Probably a good
thing if it was bad :-)

Well, there *almost* is a heart shape in it...

Oh, that :-)

If only this were a house-cleaning contest I could win from you and
everyone else :-)

You're right Joske, it doesn't look like your heart is black enough. It
borders on tacky, but it's just a page curl short.

That was my problem in the first annual Massacre, too. But if I could force
myself to abandon principles in order to capture the essence of a bad
valentine, I'm sure you can, too. In fact, I think you're creative enough to
far surpass my appalling entry. :^D

;-))))) A valiant effort.
I think the problem is that that censor bot at the Rules message in the two
active newsgroups, PSP X and PSP 9. I could try to repost.

I've only seen Ron Vick's entry so far. I've been thinking but it's still
'way down on the list of Things I Must Do. Yes, you're absolutely right.
Your valentine is far too pretty and socially acceptable to be a serious
entry.

That's right. Now that you mention them, I remember the other two entries.
I just told Joske I had seen only yours so far. It's getting off to a very
slow start, eh? I'll try to crank myself up and get kitschy one of these
days. It takes a very sustained tacky mood to turn out an acceptable entry
and I haven't had one of those lately.

Do you have an open date any time soon? My house could use a little help.
LOL BTW it's unfortunate that you are so far from Copenhagen because I will
be changing planes there one day in May. Wish I could meet you.

Joske, your pic reminds me of something I read on (of all places) a Magic
the Gathering card: "Any mogg will tell you there's nothing more nauseating
than the smell of cute." I don't have a clue what a mogg is, but I agree
with the sentiment ;-)
I need to start working on someValentine pics, as you said we need some
'spurring on' here. Thanks to you, Lesley, and Ron V. for the inspiration!

You are too kind, Aunty... I thought my heart was too black to let

Well... I just had a marvelous thought (it's only 1.35am after
all)... What if I enter a script? Rules say nothing about scripts,
so... I could do one that starts with a cute baby where the user can
choose cute colors, but when he's finished, the baby suddenly
gets... well, that's how far I got :-)))
