LOL disregard last post. see now.
Baseball.. I got mad at Pro baseball over the whole strike thing and really
haven't watched it much since then, plus I live close to St Louis and was
(am) Cubs fan and that didn't go over to well around here. LOL
Football is my game! LOVE that! I would have played if they would let me!
LOL

Sonja,

Once upon a time I followed all the sports, but as time went by I stopped
following them one by one, for a variety of reasons. The main one probably
is time. I'll watch an occasional hockey game, but through the marvels of
modern technology I can see almost every one of the Red Sox games even
though I live in Virginia. I also take about four baseball-related trips
every year, and this summer I'll go over the 100-mark in stadiums where
I've attended professional baseball games. I grew up playing ball, and I've
always loved numbers; the two are a natural fit.

BTW, from another thread: your daughter is stunning.

Hey Cliff...
I don't like Hockey at all... senseless if you ask me... just as boxing ...
but that is just my opinion... I spose though if I were getting paid what
they were I would stand there and let them beat me in the head for 3
minutes... couldn't hurt much, already too far gone ! LOL

Hey you ever been to St Louis ? This is the last season for Busch Stadium !!

Thank you :) I think so too, but I am mom ! LOL

Yes, Sonja, our annual baseball convention was held there in 1997. The
ballpark's location was great, just a few minutes walk from the hotel.
Actually, it will be the last year for *that* Busch Stadium; the new one
will be called Busch, too.

Considering the Cardinals play there, you could say a bird
in the hand is worth two in the Busch [groan].
