You did a great job!! Very realistic (especialy the trees)
If you match the shadows with the low sun, coming from behind,
it will be more realistic.

Welcome Edward :-) A good first attempt at making a scene with
tubes.

Comments?

Things disappear into the distance, so the grass would get smaller
the further it is away.

Shadows fall 'away from' the sun.

I particularly like the parts where you draped the ferns over the
brook, which does seem to have a rather strong turbulence :-)

Thanks everyone for your kind words and advise, it's something how easy it
to forget to do
certain things when you stare at your project for such along time.

Lesson Learned

mirror your drawing and you see more "shortcomings", after a long time
looking at your own drawing, you overlook a lot of things, it helps a lot
if you mirror your drawaing, you'l get a compleet other perspective.
(Afterwards you can turn it back)
