Author Creating a simple grid - grid.bmp (0/1)

I want to create a simple, pixel-by-pixel image (see attachment), with
a different color in each pixel. (5 X 5).
I'm new at Paint Shop Pro, and I can't seem to figure out how to do
this. Is there a tutorial anywhere that would help, or can anybody
give me a couple of hints?

Thanks,

I'd create a new image 5 x 5 pixels, set the Paint Brush to one
pixel size, zoom way in, and paint. Set each color in turn into the
Foreground box of the Materials palette and click on a pixel. Am I
missing something, or does this not work for you?

Thank you--it works! What I didn't realize was that you needed to set
the size of the paintbrush to 1 pixel in the little 'size' drop-down
box on the toolbar above. It doesn't say that anywhere I could find
in the docs.
Thanks again!

You are welcome, and welcome to PSP. Corel drastically reduced the
documentation "in order to make the product easier to use." Go
figure. Fortunately there are many other sources: PSP 9 user guide,
literally thousands of third-party tutorials, and of course this
newsgroup.
