Details?
I'm have no idea what kind of car it is. I drew it out using a picture as a
model. It's done in a process where I put the color where I need it with
vectors, convert to raster, and then use any number of the retouch tools
(mostly) to get it to look satisfactory. Lots of layers, and some adjustment
layers. I'm mostly happy with the chrome. I wasn't sure if I could get it to
look right. Chrome for me is a hard thing to do without using a plugin. For
example the bumper is about ten layers.

Was this done all in PSP? Even if it wasn't.. it turned out
great! If it was, it must have taken forever.

This picture is great Jerry. However, I would like to find a picture of this
quality of a 1932 Studibaker Presidential. I'll mail you later today when I
get off work.

It was done all in psp 9. It still need a few things added to it. Like door
handles and hood latch.
I worked on it for about 3 weeks on and off.

Thanks, Tim. Quality is OK, but I could do better now than I
was able to in 2003. I'll take a look to see if I have any
1932 Studes for you.

I found 5 32 Studes, Ken, and have posted them to
alt.binaries.paint-shop-pro for you.

I believe you. This is not something one can do in an hour or two in
one straight go.

It may not be finished, but it looks good already even with the
little errors and missing bits. Nice flowing lines, decent
highlights.

Thanks Joske

I really enjoy working on stuff that takes time.
I'm hoping That one day they get the vector features to be able to do
something like this without having to convert to raster.

That would be wonderful indeed. I'm sure everyone is tired of my big
time wish, gradients conforming to shape instead of bounding box :-)
But that would surely help a lot with (high)light, shadow and depth.

The thing about converting to raster is that I find myself putting
it off as long as I can, because it can't be edited property-wise -
you have to start all over if it's not to your liking after all. So
if I have an elaborate image, my imagination about the end result
has to do a lot of the work as long as I'm in vector.

Joske
