Happy Jewish New Year. Quite the graphic you created. Nice

Happy Rosh Hashanah to you Gail.

I downloaded the Mehdi kaleidoscope, and see it's got three spinning
options PSP doesn't have. For the rest, it's all the same, so I
presume it's the spinning you like.

Very nice, Gail. And a Happy New Year to you as well!

Thanks to all for the comments and New Year wishes! If anyone's
interested, I'm actually a Jubu ;-) This article pretty much sums it up:

Joske, no it's not that. The randomize function is better because the
Mehdi plugin allows you to randomize the Offset while keeping the other
variables constant, while PSP randomizes all of the variables. Because
of the latter, it isn't very useful. When PSP's randomize function first
came out that way, I mentioned that some of the Effects needed selective
randomization in order to be useful, but it didn't go over very well
with the J'sc folks, so I dropped it.

Yes, and it's a good one ;-) I used it for a long time until I
discovered the Mehdi plugin. It works faster on my computer than PSP's
kaleido effect, and it's free.

I understand now. I've always thought the Kaleidoscope was a very
nice effect to play with, but haven't seriously used it much. If I
had, I'd probably come to the same conclusion you did.

PS I did your mask tutorial the other day. Along with what Angela
and Spandex taught in the photography group, I can say I am getting
a grasp on the usefulness of masking finally :-)

It's not really free unless it comes with a camera strap. Without the
strap it's just an electronic download :-) Happy New Year.

I can't help myself. At Halloween do you temporarily become a Buju? :-)
(No relationship to Buju Banton is implied.)

Thanks, Barb, and you're not that late. The New Year season lasts about
10 days ;-)
