Cannot print to multiple printers.

Hello there,
Currently I am using Paint Shop Pro under Windows Vista. This was an
upgrade from Paint Shop Pro to Windows XP
In previous editions of Paint Shop Pro I could quite easily print to various
printers which seemed a standard thing to do under windows. After the
upgrade to Windows Vista, I also decide to upgrade to Version 9 however this
edition I can only print to the default printer and nothing else.
This seems to be an issue with Corel products and Windows Vista. Firstly I
found out that I cannot use CorelDraw 12 under Windows Vista and have to
upgrade to current and now since Corel has taken over Jasc, they products
seems to be very much limited.
Is there an issue or is there a patch or some kind of fix that would enable
me to use Paint Shop Pro as so far Adobe CS-2 is looking good under Vista.
Kindest Regards

Since you are posting to the PSP version 9 newsgroup I'll assume
you have version 9. This was the last Jasc version before Corel.
I do not believe that Corel supports this version or has updates
for it for Vista compatibility. You can search the Knowledgebase
on the Corel web site to make sure I'm not misleading you.

Thanks anyway.

There will always be problems trying to use older software with newer
operating systems, and one of the incompatibilities between Vista and PSP 9,
is the button on the Print dialog that allows you to change printers doesn't
show up. The workaround is to change the Windows default printer when you
need to change printers.
There is no chance of a patch to fix this... PSP 9 was released two and a
half years before Vista and before PSP was bought by Corel. It will be very
rare to see any software company release compatibility patches for anything
except the current version. It's always been the catch about updating to the
"latest and greatest" operating system... some software and hardware will no
longer work, and you'll either need to go through the expense of purchasing
newer versions, or suffer the inconvenience of limited functionality or
workarounds.
You will find much the same with Photoshop CS2... CS3 is the current version
and Adobe has no plans to release Vista patches for CS2.
So your choices (apart from using the workaround or reinstalling XP) are
PSPP X2 or Photoshop CS3.
