I have a friend who got a new puter and of course vista - she has PSP9 and
put in the 2 dll's file but says her plugins not working one of them being
MuraMeister.

I believe she has upgraded PSP9 too so any ideals

She needs the patch called XP
She also needs to have admin rights to those files Vista is heavy on
permissions also from another thread on Plugins not working, so worth a try.


Issue Resolved!!!

The issue turns out to be the way PSP works with Windows DEP (Data Execution
Prevention). For some reason (out of the box setting??) my HP system had
DEP set to "Turn on DEP for all programs except those I select". When the
option was changed to "Turn on DEP for essential Windows programs and
services only" the issue no longer occurs.

I hope that this solution may help someone else in the future.

Sorry, I don't mean to hijack the thread... However, is there a link to the
procedure to get PSP9 working on Vista?

Depends on what you mean by working. Not having Vista I can not check my
self But PSP does work on vista what does not work is Vistas fancy windows.
It will revert to classic style during PSP usage and back to Jelly after you
close Vista
