Viewing PSP Thumbnails in Windows

Something I recently installed, most likely Roxio Media Creator, broke my
ability to see .psp files as thumbnails in Windows. I can still see
thumbnails for the .pspimage file extension and changing the file extension
makes the thumbnails visible. The files still opened in PSP 9, but I reset
the file association anyway. Also reinstalled PSP 9 and its patches. Is
there anythine else I can try? Renaming all the files has been a pain, even
with batch processing. And it did work right before.

"PSP Thumbnail Handler is a free utility developed by Bot
Productions. When viewing files on your computer with Windows
Explorer's thumbnails view, this utility allows you to view
thumbnails of Paint Shop Pro images."

Actually it is checked. And these .psp files already open in Paint Shop when
you double click on them Pro and they are showing in Windows as Paint Shop
Pro files. It's a puzzle.

You probably can remove the post by clicking on the message then going to
Message > Cancel Message. You, and anyone else who has already downloaded
it, will still see the original, but those who check the group a short time
later won't see it. Cancelling messages works pretty well on Corel's server,
but is much less reliable in Usenet groups.

Well, I have it fixed now; took drastic measures <G> to accomplish it. I
just installed the hated PSP X and that fixed it. I'm going to try
uninstalling it and hoping the fix stays; after all, it was working fine
before with just PSP 9 and 8 installed. If Windows reverts back to being
bad, I'll put X back on.
