create a new crop tool size?

Hi
I use PSP 9 and I purchased one of these digital photo frames
(Pandigital, made in China) to which I will transfer photos for my
mother. But I am having trouble using the crop tool in PSP9 to crop and
resize the photos I want to the "right size" of the digital photo frame.
This frame listed as 7" is really a display I measure to be 6" x 3.5"
and that is not one of the presets in PSP9. How do I create a new
preset?
An other advice to make the photos appear at their best on this low
resolution (480 x 234 pixel) device?
Thanks.

Read Help > Contents > Automating Tasks > Using and Creating
Presets.
I expect you will get better results by resizing and cropping to 480
x 234 pixels, then sharpening to taste. PSP will do a better
resizing job than the chip in the photo frame. Given its native
pixel width and height, the frame should show what you see on your
own monitor, although the image will probably look much smaller on
your monitor. Lean forward <grin>.
