Custom Controls for RealPlayer?

Anyone have any info on creating custom controls for RealPlayer when
placed in a webpage? I understand how to get certain controls attached
to realplayer but I need to find a way to design my own buttons for the
said controls.

Any help much appreciated. I've been on google for a week now and read
through real's scripting guide which says it can be done, but not how.
Plus if you're trying to design something using the <object> and
<embed> tags > does that mean you have to use javascript for NS and
Vbscript/activex for IE?
