We're happy to announce that version 3.1.0 of Connect Daily has been
released. This is a major upgrade with some really nice features added.
The three new core features are:

Attachments of Binary Files and additional URLs to Calendar Events.

Resource can now be marked as non-exclusive, allowing them to be
shared by events at the same time.

A simple method of creating setup and teardown events has been
added.

We're really excited about attachments. One school teacher using our
product is attaching images relevant to a homework assignments. The school
is also planning on attaching medical release forms and parental
permission slips to field trip events.

The upgrade instructions are on-line at:

This version will be rolled out to hosted customers in the next week to
ten days.

Our plans for the next version of Connect Daily will be to create a
security permissions wizard that will simplify assigning security
permissions to users. While a lot of users like the flexibility of the
permissions system, it is more difficult than we would like and we want to
improve it. We'll probably also be adding permissions fixer screen. We
have an internal script that we use that assigns a user or a group all
possible permissions. This feature will be built into Connect Daily by
default in the next release.
