Need design idea for reading group
|
|
|
| I am looking for design ideas for a website that will describe our reading
group.
Phase One of the site will be pretty static and stable; I just want to
communicate the basics about our group: when and where our club meets, how
to contact us, what the meeting topics for the next few months are, etc. I'm
not sure if we'll ever get to a Phase Two or Phrase Three but, if we do,
that might involve a wiki, photographs of club members, etc. But I'm not
really concerned about anything beyond Phase One right now.
Does anyone have any ideas on a design that will reinforce the themes of
reading and discussion of books? We are a general fiction group so we are
not focused on a single genre like mystery or fantasy, otherwise I would use
the genre as the starting point of a design. In fact, we occasionally do
non-fiction books so we aren't even exclusively fiction.
I'm afraid my artistic side doesn't include very much in the way of a
graphic sense so any suggestions would be appreciated.

I like text based sites with lot of contents, it is alwasy easy to play
with them.
Use your Bookmarks folder, you should have some sites there that you like,
surf the internet, notice what you like, use, copy, rearrange.
Surf trough www.oswd.org - plenty of nice designe, and free ideas.
