Those of you who have studied elementary calculus are familiar how the slope
of a tangent line would appear at several instances along a curvy line. I
would like to be able to animate this in flash using the curvy line as my
motion guide layer. The problem is I am unable to figure out how to animate
it in such a way as to have the moving segment stay tangent with the curve
throughout the movie. I know how it can be done using framed animation, but
there should be a way of accomplishing it with a motion tween.
