How to find out the version of the flash plugin in InternetExplorer ?

| How do I find out which flash plugin version is currently active in my InternetExplorer (v6.0)
under WIn2000/WinXP ?
If I install now separately the Macromedia Flash software (not the plugin) does this affect
the flash plugin inside IE ? In other words is there an automatic update of the
flash plugin too when installing the "main" Macromedia Flash software?
How do I completely uninstall (not only disbale !) the flash plugin in IE (6.0) ?

you can check your flash plug-in in IE under 'Tools'-->'Manage Add-ons'--->'Add-ons that have been used by IE'
