(Brand noob here so excuse my ignorance) I have a small (632px wide,
107px tall) flash header on a page with three layers. The top is a
silhouette of some rooftops, the back is of some static clouds and the
middle is some more clouds that move across giving the appearance of
rolling clouds. The rooftops are a png with a transparent background,
the background clouds are a solid jpg and the middle 'floating' clouds
are a png with a little transparency on the ends to make it look smooth
when the movie loops and it's alpha set to 20 to show the clouds behind.
I have the FPS set to 15 and the tween is 1300 frames long to make the
clouds roll smooth and slowly. Looks great but the problem is the file,
with Compress Movie selected and JPEG Quality set to 40, is a hefty 45K.
What am I doing wrong? What can I do to get this file size down?
Thanks,
Steve.

Send me the file and I will do what I can.

Sounds like you could use some actionscripting to take care of this problem.

This should be a single frame flash movie.
