Mesh Warp Tool Question

|
Is there any way to move an image relative to the mesh, or vice versa,
while keeping both visible?
I know I can use the move tool to move the image, but when I do, the
mesh disappears. I would like to keep the mesh visible while I move the
image so I can align the part of the image I want to deform to a mesh
control point.
Thanks for any help or directions.
