Subtracting selections from Alpha channel or Disk
|
|
|
| I have some contour areas definitions stored in an image alpha channel and
would like to subtract some inner contours from outer contours.
There is a way to add or subract areas to a selection on an image.
But, is there a way to use the selection definitions stored in the alpha
channel as the area to be subracted from an active selection?
Or, if there is a way to do this with disk based selections, all one would
have to do is to load them from alpha channel and store them on disk and
then use them. But is there a way to use disk based stored selections as the
area to be subtracted from an active selection?

There will be options to add or subtract from the current selection on the
dialog box when you load the second selection from the alpha channel.

| Thank you!
I had not seen those options on that dialog box, and did not find the
reference to this in the HELP facility.
