Is there an easy way to take all the layers of an image out to separate
images?

Just select the layer, then copy and paste it to as a new image

I'm sure a script could be written to make it more automatic.

In the Layers Palette, simply drag each layer to the workspace and drop it.

Joe Fromm's Layers-Delaminate script will do that. You can get it from
the link below. It's one of the scripts in the Joe Fromm's #1 batch of
scripts about halfway down the page. By default it won't copy mask and
adjustment layers as new images, but if you open the script in Notepad he
has instructions at the top about which lines to uncomment if you want
some of these types of layers to also be copied.
