There's a couple of error windows, this is one invalid page fault in
module Paint Shop Pro.EXE at 01c7:0043c20a., and the other I'll put on
comp-graphics as an image..It appears to be having a problem finding a
Gradient, but I don't know why, as what is needed comes on the damn
disk.

It's nothing to do with a gradient. The two files that the error message
refers to (MSIMG32.DLL and GDI32.DLL) are part of Windows (presumably
Windows 98SE). This error message usually occurs when some piece of software
has overwritten MSIMG32.DLL with a newer but incompatible version. You'll
need to use System File Checker to restore the correct version of
MSIMG32.DLL from the Win 98SE CD. See
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/185836.

That is interesting, never knew the difinite answer.
I was getting those error messages a while back with PSP-9.01 (along with
some other apps having small niggles, and a few system instabilities)
..
It turned out that one of my memory sticks had over the years developed
quite few holes, and when it had degraded to a particular point, things
slowly stared going Blaaaa!

Replaced the stick, and since than all has been well.

Cheers

Threre's the thing called gdi+ security and I think it may relate the
Jpeg security issues talked about a few yrs ago, this problem is still
with us, all of us, and with the help of Auntie Spam, I'm d/l patches
and trying to get a handle on it, anyone who knows or has anything to
contribute would be much appreciated.
PS, I wrote Ron Vick, and both emails returned, has something happened
to him?
