I just downloaded the Impact demo from the Alien Skin website,

http://www.alienskin.com/downloads/getmail1.asp ,

and am now trying to open the filter. I wondered why I never got any of
these filters before, and now I remember. I can't get the things to open up
anywhere in PSP. Where do I find it?

Well it depends where you saved it to. Create a sub folder in My psp Folders
for Plugins and Install it in to there inside its own subfolder then you
will not gets bits from one plugin mixed up with another. Then in PSP go to
file preferences file location ant find the plugins tab then add the
location of your plugins to the list with use sub folders checked.

Now some times you have to close psp and reopen and some times not. Open an
image and then go to Effects menu at the bottom you will see plugins if
every thing has worked as it should that will open a sub list of the plugins
you have available, just click the one you want to use it.

There you go, Thank you!
It's PSP's 5, 6, 7, and 8 BTW. Windows XP is giving me all my problems now,
I was using Windows ME for years.
