Hi all

I have a picture of a car engine and I want to highlight a certain
engine part by adding an arrow or pointer by the side of it to make it
instantly recognisable.
Can anyone help me do this please? I've read the manual and it dont say
anything about this.

Apart from painting one on I would look at the preset shapes. Here you will
find lots of different styles of arrows that you can add by dragging out to
size them move resize rotate ect to get it as and where you want .

also you could use the pen tool to draw a line. on the tool options bar
there is a line style drop menu where you will find lines with
arrowheads<---
