| From PSP 8.10. Should I go to 9 or 10? Any problems with either of those
versions now that Corel has brought out JASC? Thanks.

There's problems with everything, it's just a matter of whether those
particular problems matter to you. If your purpose for upgrading includes
getting lots of new features, unless you're a digital camera fanatic,
neither 9 nor X have significant feature upgrades over PSP 8. (If you are a
digital photographer, then moving to 9 at least is a good idea, several
excellent features such as the Digital Camera Noise Removal tool.)
If interface "simplification" or menu changes bother you, then you probably
don't want to go to X. If the health of your wallet is more important to
you than losing some hard drive space, if you can't find a good deal on
either version, then stay with 8. (Although, a short perusal of this ng
will probably find you sources for buying discounted versions of either
one.)

Some users where not happy with the Implement of new tools in PSP X that
sort of replaced some old faithful with so called simple to use 16 bit photo
enhancements.
I say sort of as the old tools are still there hidden in unused commands
from where you can drag them out into your menu's and have 9 and 10.
The browser is now a palate and can be moved around just like the layers
pallet for example and rolled up when not in use what it can not do is be
open behind psp as its now inside psp. A plus for those with twin monitors.
There is not a lot of new stuff in 10 mostly a revamp of 9 but with some
limited 16 bit per channel and camera raw. Currently here in the UK you can
buy psp 9 with photoalbum 5 both full versions for £29.95 Which makes it a
much better Value for money buy then £89.95 for PSP x and the very light
photo album 6 STD ( its able to catalogue your images only )

Thanks. I see several new boxed versions of PSP 9 on eBay for $36 plus $6
shipping. Is that a decent deal?

I noted X in one of the Sunday paper inserts (Best Buy?) for $30 after
rebates today. BB has had this offer before, and it will be on all week.
