I created text in a pspimage file, why can't I modify it later??

| I created some lines of text and saved it as a pspimage. I thought by
saving it this way, all of the text properties are saved, and I can
reopen the file and use the object selection tool (pointy thing) and
right click to edit the text. But the object selection tool is greyed
out, making me unable to modify the text.
How can I save text so that I can later modify it??
Thanks

When you create your text, make sure you create it as Vector
text. Then you can re-edit as you wish. I suspect you didn't
create it as vector text but simply laid the text on the existing
raster image layer, which made the text part of that layer rather
than an editable vector layer.
