Author How to achieve gradient blur in PSP X?

Hi.

I'm newbie in Paint Shop Pro X.

I want to click on some point in my picture, and to get blur which strength
is rising radially from that point outwards, meaning, that point is the only
part of picture that is clear, and all other pixels are blurred according
how much they are distant from that center point.

Any rough suggestions on how ot achieve that?

BTW, I can see "Adjust->Radial Blur" option, and it ALMOST gives me what I
want, but unfortunately it gives this extra motion effect (Spin/Zoom/Twirl)
which I don't want. I would like to achieve something like that, but with
plain non-motion-like blur.

Regards,
Vjeran

duplicate the layer add blur then a mask layer with a sunburst gradient
fill. Black in the centre white to the edge, to gradually from the centre
out to create transparency and show the unblured layer though. The degree of
change can be controlled by adjusting the gradient filled mask layer with
the Histogram adjustments tool

Thanx. I have one problem though - I need some easy way to set center of
this sunburst gradient. As far as I see, it allows centering it in this
small Gradient window. I would like somehow to click on desired place on my
image to place it...

Vjeran

Just to be clear - centering this sunburst gradient in this Gradient window
involves entering X-Y value, thus it's very hard to set it precisely where I
want.

Or dragging in that little window.
Not easy but if before you go into select the gradient, place your cursor
over the spot in the image that you want it centred on and looking at the
status bar at the bottom you will see the cure X-Y coordinates
