Can't decide if it's damning with fairt praise or not. I know it tells me
to wait for PSP X2 or XII, whichever it will be, when things are better
integrated. And get this, Elements 5 now generously gives us CURVES!
Somehow I don't think it gives "90 percent of what I use in Photoshop"
unless you're a very basic user of PS.
I'll stick with my power combo of PSP 9/PSP XI and wait for what comes
over the borizon in 6 months. I'm also waiting to see if PhotoPaint gets
a makeover, since it could be a real complement to PS, excpet that it's
been largely ignred for about a decade, while PSP and PS got all the bells
and whistles.

Too bad that you don't try PhotoLine 32 from www.pl32.com . Its
features even surpass full-blown PhotoShop for only $60-$70. Read this
tools and commands equivalents list (URL below). Note all the "(none)"
entries in the columns for PhotoShop and Paint Shop Pro where there is
no equivalent feature in those programs.

And, it's obviously so easy to use that it doesn't even need to have a
newsgroup dedicated to it.

And it's so advanced that only people intelligent enough to know how
to use graphic editors properly don't generally need a newsgroup for
it.
It's so nice to be working with a program where fellow users don't
incessantly ask ridiculous questions like "What's a layer?" or "What
does Alpha Channel mean?"
Duh ....
Enjoy playing in the kindergarten sandbox with PSP!
Next time Sally or Bob asks you how to dig another hole with their
bent and broken PSP shovel, I'm sure you'll be happy to help them,
again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and
again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and
again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and
again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and
again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and
again, and again, and again, ....

That's because it's empty and there's a hole in the side.

| With friends like you, DJ, the makers of that program really don't
need any enemies. You do more to drive people away from it than
anything anyone who uses either Photoshop or PSP could do.
