Should anybody want it, PSP Studio is free after rebate this week at
CompUSA, with a warning.

Free is good. I assume Corel is clearing out old stock and acquinting
customers with the PSP brand. The box I bought has the JASC logo. I bought
it because I'm thinking of acquiring a laptop and will need some sort of
inexpensive simple-to-use graphics editor on it for those occasions when
I'm away from home, where PSP 9 rules.

The warning is that, being old stock, the sticker at least says the rebate
in the box expired in 2005. I pointed this out at customer service and
the manager found a current (Corel) rebate for $20, to go with the $20
rebate form that comes out of the register. One requires a UPC and one
allows a copy.

If you have a use for it, a deal.

Are there any patches I should be aware of?

Brendan

Yes, there are patches. Try Help > Check for Updates first. That
works for most customers, but several have had to get them
explicitly at
