AOL Pictures Redesigned (http://pictures-beta.aol.com ) now in beta
offers excellent and safe archive of all your digital pictures. All you
need to do is signup for a Free AIM (AOL Instant Messenger) account or
use the one if you already are a aim member. The main features that i
use it for is

1) unlimited upload of images of different formats - no size limits
2) Download all the images that you uploaded in their fullest
resolution (no other website offers this)
3) All images are private to you until you share the album with your
friends thru sharing feature and even then, only your friends can view
the album - so very good privacy.

Give it a try.

No thanks, I wouldn't go near AOL with a barge pole never mind use an
iffy Beta product of theirs, would probably never manage to get rid of
it.

I concur with your AOL aversion. Three times now I have helped folks remove
"free" AOL from their computers and each time it took more than an hour,
mostly spent in the spooky, scary registry.

My new compaq has about 5 preinstalled internet configs & not to
mention a lot of other pre-installed time & cpu wasters.
Some of it is a blessing as It sets up the dvd burner/Cd Writer
without a helping hand but ridding the 'puter of most of the compaq/hp
shit is a nightmare. I almost forgot how frustrating name-brand
computers could be.
I bought it super-cheap from the end of financial year sales & has
everything I was looking for. ( with bonus HP Printer/Scanner/Copier
All-in-one for free )
The worst thing was the symantec products such as Norton anti-virus
and its firewall. I really hate their products except for Norton
Utilites that you can't buy anymore on itself.
