Certificate-style borders

| Hi. I'm looking for some good tutorials on making certificate-style
borders, like you'd see on a, well, a certificate. ;) Preferably not
involving heavy plug-in usage, if you can help it. I don't have anything
against plug-ins, it's just that I use both PSP and the Gimp, and I'd
prefer something that could work in both.
Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

If you are looking for advice on creating scrollwork that appears
"engraved", I can't help, but even the modest-sized collections of images
that I have purchased have some borders that would be appropriate for
certificates. You could choose one of those, size it properly, and save it
in the image format of your choice -- be sure to adhere to the terms and
conditions of use in the image collection, if any.

| You could use tubes. I've found a number of border tubes that work well on
things like cards and certificates.Google is a good place to search.

You might have some luck with Sinedots
http://www.philipp-spoeth.de/
Not something I use so I dont know If it will do large empty space in the
middle but it does do the fancy Engraved look. You could do a small image
with it and use it as a seamless pattern to fill a border selection

Of course, you can also be willing to buy from a guy who hides his real
identity behind a name like "Roy".
And, you must also be willing to pay to "Roy" for his pirated certificate
borders.
And, if you are good enough you can also (please, please) click on any of
the links in this "artist"'s web page.

No, what you claimed to be true was not in fact, the truth. So your
opinions are irrelevant.

What I claimed to be true has not been demonstrated otherwise, so ... go and
see if some clicked a link in your stupid pages, perhaps you are 25 cents
richer by now.
